MZUNGU RED CARPET PREMIERE

Ruckus Apparel

RED CARPET DENVER PREMEIRE OF MZUNGU (n.) white wanderer DATE: Thursday, November 18th, 2010: 6 pm - 10 pm

LOCATION: Mayan Theater - 110 Broadway - Denver, CO 80203

OVERVIEW: Join us in celebrating this amazing documentary - in its grandest scale yet. Ruckus Apparel together with Come, Lets Dance are presenting the award winning documentary on hometown soil fresh off its recent run at the Denver Starz Film Festival. MZUNGU is not just another Social Justice Documentary.  Finally, there exists a global issues film that shows more than the flies-on-the-face and hopelessness of the world. MZUNGU is the rest of the story: what happens after the filmmakers and the characters go home?  It is the journey of four Coloradans who set out to “save the world,” and instead unite a community to work together for authentic, meaningful change, while also changing themselves forever. The power of this film lies in the question “Can love conquer all?” And sometimes, as is the case in MZUNGU, the simplest answer is the best.
